Any nature lovers out there I can heartily reccomend this on BBC iplayer.Channel 4.It's presented by Helen McDonald who wrote the beautiful book H is for Hawk, and she follows the orbit of the M25 and it's surrounding countryside.Really hoping she is commissioned to do more nature documentaries.

Wasn't that just a lovely programme?. An excellent, well spoken, enthusiastic, knowledgeable presenter too. We used to live in the triangle between the M1 and M25 so travelled on the M25 a lot. DH spent a lot of the time saying thing like"Thats near Heathrow"or "Round the next corner is the St. Albans turnoff".
I believe it is on again next week so we will watch it again. Absolutely lovely.

I caught part of it and thought it was Helen McDonald. Must watch it properly. I love H is for Hawk.

Just remember though that BBC4 is still under threat. I really don't know what I'd do if we lost it.
