Doodledog Mon 15-Aug-22 11:25:02

Congratulations!

Is it very scary? I am hopeless at horror.

farview Mon 15-Aug-22 11:43:30

Saw just the first episode at the premiere...a little scary...try it Doodledog ?

Doodledog Mon 15-Aug-22 11:47:31

Ok, I'll see how I get on grin. I am ok with scary murder things, but not great with supernatural, so I might chicken out if it's too much for my scaredy-cat nerves, but I'll give it a go.

Deedaa Mon 15-Aug-22 22:23:24

I thought it looked interesting and I've set it to record.

I am hooked on this, found it by chance on iplayer. Lots of brilliant young actors who will hopefully be seen more frequently in other TV dramas. I have 2 episodes left to watch and can't wait to find out what is going to happen.

farview Tue 16-Aug-22 17:04:36

Oh excellent travalsafar...our 22yr old grandson watched every episode last night ?

Deedaa Tue 16-Aug-22 19:49:48

I thoroughly enjoyed the first episode. The app is believably scary and the teens are all authentically recognisable. Makes me glad those days are behind me!

Doodledog Tue 16-Aug-22 19:57:27

Please congratulate your godson and his twin - it was very good ?

farview Tue 16-Aug-22 21:39:18

Thank you Doodledog think they're destined to be fabulously famous....their mum..my best friend.....who left us far too soon...would be so proud .

Just watched the first episode and I enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to watching the rest, when I’ve time.
Congratulations to your Godsons.

avitorl Tue 16-Aug-22 22:31:34

I have put it on series record.I didn't realise I could watch all the episodes now.

Elrel Wed 24-Aug-22 16:59:01

Farview - I’ll give it a go!

Deedaa Sat 27-Aug-22 21:32:19

I'm still enjoying it. I like the spooky happenings against such an everyday background. I'm thinking twice before I open anything on my phone!

Eloethan Sun 28-Aug-22 00:31:24

I think it was very good but I found it depressing.

rafichagran Sun 28-Aug-22 01:15:26

I enjoyed it, it reminds me of the film IT with the clown, only bought up to date in the internet world.

My daughter and I were totally hooked! Normally we would pretty much binge watch a series but limited ourselves to one episode a night. We loved it-kept you guessing! Brilliant,a rare jewel in the endless stream of dramas that are potentially good but usually disappoint! Congratulations and many thanks to your godson and friend!

I've started watching it, but only during daylight hours. I've really enjoyed it so far; the young actors are terrific. In looking forward to watching the rest, but I'm limiting myself to a couple a day. It's filmed quite local to me and I recognised a lot of the places. My late younger brother went to the same school as the writers.

Iam64 Wed 31-Aug-22 21:38:51

Exciting to read the twin writers are your godsons farview. I heard them interviewed on 5 live last week. You must be very proud of them great talent, likeable interesting young men

Im not a sci-fi fan but enjoyed episode one lots. I loved the local accents and the end of exam celebrations on moorland. Great to see Bolton this way

Grandma2213 Mon 05-Sep-22 00:34:45

I'm enjoying watching the young actors who all look like normal teenagers. I am pleased to see an increasing number of dramas taking place in the north and not just in big cities. I do wonder about them meeting on the moors though as personally I have never seen groups of young people walking that far around there. Someone else may disagree with me. Also the trains going into Manchester and Bolton have a lot of countryside going past as they draw into the stations which I have not seen either. Never mind though the drama is compelling and there is a deep message about the danger of mobile phones and social media.

Iam64 Mon 05-Sep-22 07:42:42

I agree about not seeing such big groups on the moors but, the area shown for the after exam get together is very popular. Camping, fires at night etc and away from adult interference.
It’s great to see our area shown with its dramatic, often beautiful countryside
When the commonwealth games cycling took place around Rivington, I heard any number of people on tv expressing surprise at how much open countryside we enjoy

Caleo Mon 05-Sep-22 09:29:13

I did not understand what was going on early in the first episode so I stopped watching it.

Deedaa Wed 07-Sep-22 19:43:58

Very dramatic ending and the chance of a sequel perhaps?

farview Thu 08-Sep-22 06:48:48

Maybe Deedaa...
