The Mumsnet book of Animal Stories

We're extra delighted to announce our October kids' book of the month, The Mumsnet book of Animal Stories - Ten Prize-winning Stories From Mumsnet and Gransnet, because it was written entirely by mumsnetters and gransnetters! And we have 50 copies to give away.

Now in its second year, the Mumsnet, Gransnet and Walker Books children’s story writing competition is emerging as an exciting, innovative platform for budding children’s authors.

Over 600 people entered this year’s animal stories competition and the ten winning stories were chosen by a panel of celebrity judges, including former Children’s Laureate Anthony Browne, Miriam Clegg, Guardian journalist Lucy Mangan and Justine Roberts, CEO of Mumsnet. (Oh, and CariGransnet!)

This beautifully illustrated gift book is by parents (and grandparents), for parents (and grandparents!), uniquely showcasing the creativity and experience of the Mumsnet and Gransnet communities.
