rockgran Fri 15-Aug-14 19:18:10

Looks interesting.

chloe1984 Fri 15-Aug-14 19:55:49

Yes I hope to be watching

ninathenana Fri 15-Aug-14 21:31:08

Well, what a total disappointment!
Couldn't even raise a smile, let alone a laugh.

Ana Fri 15-Aug-14 21:32:03

Promising, but very slow...

Grannyknot Fri 15-Aug-14 21:37:38

I like Nigel Planer. Will give it a second try next week.

sunseeker Fri 15-Aug-14 21:40:08

Switched off after 15 mins.

hummingbird Fri 15-Aug-14 21:46:59

Dull as dishwater!

hespian Fri 15-Aug-14 21:47:27

Watched but a bit disappointing. Didn't raise many smiles.

papaoscar Fri 15-Aug-14 22:00:57

Not as good as the build-up. Lets hope it improves. At least it didn't frighten the horses.

jackrussell Fri 15-Aug-14 22:04:31

No, won't be watching next week, so boring ...yawn

Coolgran65 Fri 15-Aug-14 22:10:46

Love the cast and the concept so I'm hoping it will 'develop'.

Notso Fri 15-Aug-14 23:01:47

I loved the line about Humanist funerals being like Britain's Got Talent grin

mollie65 Sat 16-Aug-14 07:06:22

since 'boomers' has become such a word of abuse/denigration in common parlance - I felt the title was an unfortunate choice of words - so didn't watch.
it was not our choice to be born in a baby boom hmm

Soutra Sat 16-Aug-14 07:21:18

papaoscar - how could you?
Not only tonite but U and B too!!
To the naughty step with you or we'll get Matron!grin

PRINTMISS Sat 16-Aug-14 08:18:19

It was a bit of a disappointment, wasn't it, but then most of these things need to get the story-lines started, so that the different threads can be carried on through the series. That's my theory, anyway, so will give it another go. Everyone deserves a second chance!

ginny Sat 16-Aug-14 08:27:07

Hmm, not particularly taken with it but will give it another chance next week.

I watched a couple of minutes, then decided it was 'same old, same old' so I watched Jo Brand on the "Extra Slice" programme, and had a good laugh!

Grannyknot Sat 16-Aug-14 08:49:32

I can't stand Jo Brand! smile

Lona Sat 16-Aug-14 08:52:38

No, I'm not too keen on her either, but this format is quite funny smile

KatyK Sat 16-Aug-14 09:00:22

Disappointing

feetlebaum Sat 16-Aug-14 09:08:28

I think Jo Brand is both clever and very funny - a winning combination...
