Ingredients

Porridge oats
Oil
Honey or maple syrup
Pine nuts
Sesame seeds
Any other nuts that you like
Cinnamon

Handy Hint

Gorgeous for breakfast with yoghurt or milk and/or fresh fruit. Also quite good with ice cream!

Method

1. Scatter a baking sheet with a layer of oats about centimetre thick - that's why there are no quantities - it depends on the size of your baking sheet!
2. Scatter the oats with a sesame seeds, pine nuts and any other nuts you might like.
3. Shake cinnamon over - about half teaspoon.
4. Then drizzle with a little sunflower oil and honey or maple syrup. Put in oven at approx 180 degrees and leave for approx 10 minutes.
5. Take out and mix mixture around with spoon and put back in over for about another 5-10 minutes until just golden (dont let nuts burn!).
