Thanks girls, my friends were great but lunch was a bit disappointing. You know when somewhere is really good, and then it gets very popular and portions go smaller and standards drop slightly? That's what has happened, so when I got home I was still hungry! Hey ho! Feeling more cheerful though!
Just sitting quietly in a corner here at the moment. Feeling weepy and rather low. I know it will pass if I relax for a while. Going out with my two best friends for lunch so I will no doubt be laughing again soon. Thank heavens for good friends here and at home.
Go on, Bags...you can do it! I meant to mention, that during our visit to Bags's home, we were treated to a tour of her peaceful wild garden with views across the loch. And we were invited to see the room in which she creates beautiful patchwork from interesting samples of textiles.
Last night, I resisted the temptation to sample the GN [extra strong] gin. Saving it for tonight's special treat. I ate lots of delicious chocolate instead, and then asked Mr soop to hide it...which he has...and I'm still trying to sniff it out
The islands are looking beautiful against a soft blue sky. The wind is less chilly and the sea sparkles. Earlier, walked through a park carpeted with bluebells and wild garlic. Heavenly!
Well it's bedtime for me! I find dealing with Adrian Mole types exhausting! They're so earnest and eager that you should understand! They can't realise that a 67 year old brain is not as fast as theirs! I do understand, but it takes me longer to assimilate and digest than it used to!
Perhaps it's time I admitted I'm past it and moved into a geriatric home and sat in a circle watching endless boring tv?
Bed! Good nights sleep, and perhaps I'll feel less despondent in the morning?
