I'm not much of a one for "celebs" Envious , perhaps you could send them to Cyprus? Might take those peoples minds off things for a while?

Lilygran Thu 21-Mar-13 21:46:28

Please feel free to keep them. Perhaps we could arrange some exchanges? I'm sure some Gransnetters will think of suitable candidates!

Sunseeker grin can we get Richard Gere to accompany him?

Anne58 Fri 22-Mar-13 09:27:44

Please please please take Jeremy Clarkson, we don't want anything in exchange, you can just have him for free.

With you there, phoenix! He makes my hackles rise....!

Is there any nation in the world that Jeremy Clarkson hasn't offended? Who would have him?

LullyDully Fri 22-Mar-13 11:23:26

I agree about Clarkson and the rest of the list. Will I get pillared for adding Terry Wogan ??? shock

Lilygran Fri 22-Mar-13 11:39:55

A 'national treasure' exchange?

I`ll quite happily do without Russell Brand, oh, and Jonathan Ross as well.

shysal Fri 22-Mar-13 15:46:32

You are welcome to Bruce Forsyth too!

Enviousamerican Fri 22-Mar-13 16:30:18

at least Russell Brand seems to try and be "a good boy" now.Or at least pulling the wool over our eyes.

BAnanas Fri 22-Mar-13 18:03:32

You can have self absorbed Gwynnie, "my children aren't allowed carbs" back and tell her to take her bloody cookery books with her!

feetlebaum Fri 22-Mar-13 18:28:16

I think Jeremy Clarkson is very entertaining -- which is what he's for.

Bruce Forsyth? A multi-talented performer, but a little past his best=-before date.

Russell Brand... hmmm. I've seen a clip from his show in the USA, and I was suprised at how intelligent he can be. Just wish he didn't always make me feel that one of us could do with a bath...

annodomini Fri 22-Mar-13 19:44:20

When Russell Brand speaks, he does, amazingly, make sense, but words fall over each other, as his mind outstrips his vocal chords!

Enviousamerican Fri 22-Mar-13 19:58:29

actually haven't heard much about the lady with the no carbs for kids. Its funny I really do think you get more news than some of us do! I look at your papers on line and it surprises me. especially world news. Its like if it doesn't effect us,we don't hear about us. I did see something about no carb for kids, she must be making the talk show round with you guys first.

Jeremy K and Jeremy C can disappear..I do not watch them intentionally having seen each of them once! I do not find ether entertaining just irritating!

nanaej Fri 22-Mar-13 23:04:01

ether is not entertaining either! grin

Galen Fri 22-Mar-13 23:21:16

I rather like Stephen Fry!sad

I like Stephen Fry, he's a bit smug but very clever and very funny too. Jeremy Clarkson can go. Please can we exchange him for Jack Nicholson?
