Get in touch with your local Trading Standards. That's part of their job.

If its any cancelation....the books last year looked as if they were specially made for the offer. They were small and thin and not the usual format you buy in the shops....GCs were pretty underwhelmed by them.

I sometimes find that an adverse comment on a company's Face Book page can have pretty good results! wink

Hi there everyone,
Found this site by accident looking at forums for ' not receiving ladybird books '...
Well I did this book offer in the spring, my cheque was cashed, but did not receive any books....
Hunted everywhere to try and find contact details to no avail, so e- mailed the mirror on [email protected] twice.... Once on the 8th July...no response.. Then on the 26 th July.... No response again.
So have 2 very unhappy grandchildren sad( they had picked the books themselves!!!
So where do I go from here?
Did everyone else get there books ?

I googled this offer and there were problems last year apparently.
This is what a spokesperson said:

"We had an amazing response to this promotion - we're giving away over 1.5 million books! They are due to be delivered to you twelve weeks from the closing date, as you can imagine it takes a long time to make all those books. You should receive your books in June, and we won't cash your cheque until we send you your books."

So whatever the closing date was, jackie, allow at least 12 weeks after that!

I've collected for a few offers from The Daily Mirror and they never arrived even after paying the postage ?

Nonu Wed 24-Apr-13 15:21:49

Have you contacted The Daily mirror to see what is happening ?

Sometimes though things can take quite some time to arrive.

This year (again) I collected 23 Daily Mirror tokens to get 11 Ladybird books. I have no idea whether they will come or if there was a fault in my application. Last year I put it down to experience. This year my grandchildren were fully involved and will not forget. I'll have to buy the books if they don't come. Has anyone received theirs?
