I am a grandma
My son has recently had problems seeing his daughter and to cut a long story short I'm in a mess as my granddaughter lives within 2 mins walking distance from my house and its killing me knowing we cant see her until it has gone through the courts.
Today my sons ex will have received a letter from the solicitors stating if contact is not permitted court action will be taken.
I cant cope please help!!!!

Hello Amanda, I'm sorry to hear of your problems, it must be so difficult.
Have a look at the threads 'cut out of their lives' and 'denied contact August 12 onwards' and perhaps post on there. You'll find there are other GNers in a similar situation to you.
It might be better to change your username to something less like your own name (if your current one is your real name) since anyone can view posts on GN, they don't have to be a member.

I know how it feels, every second is beyond painful to contemplate without your dearest GC in your life so try hard to believe that it will be ok. Try not to overreact ( much easier said than done) and know that you are not alone .
