To think my local news should know the difference......

between the Norman Foster plan to build a hub for the new airport attached to the Isle of Grain and the Boris Island plan which would have been built on an island in the Thames Estuary. They have showed the article about the fact Boris Island definitely won't go ahead. However, they continue to show computer graphics of the hub attached to Isle of Grain. They cover the area in question for heavens sake !!

Whilst I do know what you mean, when my son first mentioned both plans to me a week or so back and was trying to explain reasons for and against, I did get very confused as I hadn't realised there were two plans.

Someone obviously didn't spend much time on research, did they. I rather liked the idea of the Thames estuary one.

Ours is the same. As an aside, one of these airports will happen one day. Not in my lifetime, but it will. Everything taken in to account it's the most sensible option.

They will probably finish building it just as the oil runs out.
