"Please tell us why you dismissed this ad" (with three more options to click on) is the most stupid question on the planet?

Just go away.

You can hear the ad-men asking one another "But why should anyone think our wonderfully artistic ad is intrusive? We must contact them again and ask them to explain . . ."

Nelliemoser Wed 30-Sep-15 17:18:11

I know grannyknot. They then ask you what sort of advert you would like to see, with the veiled threat that if you don't answer you might get even more junk.
Their questions just don't want to know that you wish they would stop posting any B****y adverts at all. angry

Was there an 'I just want you go away' option grin

vampire grin

They just won't go quietly. angry

Have you got your pop up blocker on?

Grannyknot Thu 01-Oct-15 21:58:13

I don't know how to do that on the Scandal** (**what husband calls my Kindle).

Help!

Just get Ad-blocker, though I found that it slowed my Chrome Book down. Then I discovered Ad-blocker+ which is expressly for Chrome Books. It is working very well.

I don't get pop-ups on my Kindle. Is yours a Kindle Fire?

Grannyknot Thu 01-Oct-15 22:36:19

Yes it is a Kindle Fire...

gordino Thu 01-Oct-15 22:53:52

I had one, but the wheel fell off.

That joke is as old as the hills. It is also boring.

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 01-Oct-15 23:12:55

Ad-blockers should be used in secret.

jinglbellsfrocks Thu 01-Oct-15 23:13:28

And never on Gransnet.

Indinana Thu 01-Oct-15 23:20:33

I wonder if anyone has developed a blocker for irritating GN members? In particular those that dont contribute anything useful to the forum but just pop uo randomly with idiotic comments.

Indinana Thu 01-Oct-15 23:21:16

Oops - don't blush

Suddenly, I've been inundated with lots of advertising emails on my computer. Does anyone know how I can stop these, without losing my usual, useful stuff? confused
