Just watching the news and it seems that he has thrown some reporters out of his press briefing. So why didn't they then all walk out? ! He will be devastated to get no coverage!

Morgana this is already on the other Trump thread ( although he may well merit 2 threads!) grin

He is a funny funny man.

Funny man as in dangerous lunatic.

Actually several reporters did walk, including Associated Press. He is now saying he will not attend the correspondent's dinner

It's scary to think he has his finger on the button.

Scary yes. But the penny is beginning to drop amongst some of his followers. Shep Smith of Fox News went on air Friday to protest against the exclusion of CNN and other news organisations from the WH Briefing.

Re the WH Correspondants Dinner, many of the most high profile news organisations had said they would not attend( this event is not open to exclusion, like a briefing). By stating he will not attend, DT is saving himself the embarassment of facing a half-empty event. Even with his mega-ego, this would be hard to "re-interpret"( remember the palaver about crowds at the inauguration?).

Probably more will attend, knowing Trump will not be there.

He hasn't actually got his finger on the button, nor can he have without an awful lot of other factors being put into play. It's not that simple...

There are a lot of factors, but he does have his finger on the person who has their finger on the nuclear code football.
