Pop ups on banking site

I find that annoying, too, whether on banking sites or shopping ones. I think it's the assumption that you would want to talk when you're happily browsing.

Can't you just click no Auntieflo? It isn't something that bothers me unduly - actually have welcomed it on occasions! I would rather that than the other way (thinking now of a certain internet provider) going round in circles and not being able to chat to anyone!!!! Grrrr now THAT does annoy me but.........that is for a separate thread hahaha

I just need to let off steam a bit.
Why on earth does the pop up for a Live Chat, (that I don't want), have to obscure the very bit of the screen that I am trying to look at?
I know I could acess help, if needed, but please don't shove it under my nose when I am trying to sort out my accounts.
This is HSBC, other well known banks may be similarly affected.
Does it make anyone else want to scream "Go Away" ?
