She was right in what she said. The EU is a government in all but name. It has all the powers, resources and trappings of the state from a legislature and an executive, to its own courts, central bank and soon a military.
Over three years ago, the British people voted in a referendum to remove any democratic mandate for the EU to exercise governance over its people or territories, and yet it is still inside and forced to participate in its Parliament and obey its edicts.
Yesterday, we saw yet another example of its fake democracy with the backroom dealings to appoint unelected people to top political offices with zero public consultation or consent. Yes, AW put her case forcibly and displayed anger, and she had every right to do so.
