Thank you. Its wonderful. My late husband and I brought together a collection of CDs for just this type of music. So calming.

Rosenoir Didn't realise what AIBU meant. I thought it was any other business or words to that effect. Now I know.

I wondered why it was unreasonable too! Thanks for the link dinahmo, the music was beautiful.

rosenoir Thu 09-Apr-20 15:51:48

You have put it under AIBU, that is why.

Grannybags Thu 09-Apr-20 15:38:22

That was lovely. Another one here who loves chants smile

kittylester I haven't said anything about the subject matter being unreasonable. I'm not sure what you mean.

I'm not religious at all but I do like to visit abbeys and churches whilst on holiday and sometimes, if lucky, you can hear the monks or nuns singing. We went to one abbey to hear a sung service, sat at the back of the church and it the music was beautiful.

Not sure why you think its unreasonable dinahmo. Its not my thing but each to their own.

Not sure where to post this link - the article is about a closed order of Benedictine nuns in France allowing recordings to be made of their daily services. The article includes a link to the site where you can hear the singing
