B9exchange, the problem is, when you get there, you could find too many other people around.
Jane10, I think two or three weeks is a better timescale. First, there's the (variable) incubation period, then worsening of Covid in the second week with possible hospital admission and testing - then possibly death. Here' what the Telegraph says:
'it is only an estimation and it is usually out of date because it relies on testing, admissions and death data. So there will always be a 14 to 21 day lag because people are infected weeks before they enter hospital, or die.'

Is it rude to not finish a book club choice that was selected by someone else?
what is this behavior called does it have a name?

Although I find that hard to believe, Gov. directives need to be clearer, although even that probably won't work, and making them into "rules" probably won't either, seeing as one person has already been fined 9 times!
now.
