Pet hates but keep it ‘nice’

I am watching Bake Off at the moment and a pet hate is when there is any sort of competitive programme on TV it is always edited to seem as though they only finish in the last second.

Also , TV again, the ridiculous wait between announcing "the winner is" and the actual name. Then someone often says "we are all winners" , no you are not one person has won.

Seeing a person spitting on the street.

I don't think 'hate' can be consistent with being 'nice'.

When I read the title, I was going to comment on my dislike of one SIL’s pet rats!
Instead, I’m with *BigBertha1 on chewing gum and I’ll add clothes that change their sizing, but keep the same labels!
2 pairs of PJ’s for Christmas, same store, both say medium but trousers on one set need a safety-pin to hold the up!

People who say "Haitch" when spelling out a word!!
It is "Aitch" and it makes me cringe when I hear it said incorrectly.

I can't watch 'Lingo' for that reason.

I think the presenter and the contestants are told to do it.

This. Especially when accompanied with huge dark drawn on eyebrows that look like caterpillars.

One of mine is around interviewers on TV nanna8 when they ask really stupid questions like - how do you feel now your wife/husband has died. Grrrr

Chewing gum and especially when people talk with it in. It smells vile and makes a terrible mess of the pavements.

If I can have another one its masks discarded as litter - disgusting , insanitary habit.
