...to consider this excessive?

I was foxed for a while but I beavered away at the problem and decided they’ve all escaped from The Wind in the Willows!

All these critters, beavering away so doggedly to get our stuff to us. ... I had no idea!
I started this thread feeling distinctly grumpy but you've all made me smile.

Perhaps we should all meet up in the badger's arms when this is over...

I am no very worried about the badgers arms, no wonder they are screwing up the clothes and forgetting with the invoices

M& S probably have swans doing their parcels ?

See, packed by badgers is a growing trend

My last parcel from M&S also arrived with the item screwed up and no invoice etc or details if I’d wanted to return it.

I'm sure someone will ferret out an answer...

How do you tell the difference between a parcel packed by a stoat and one packed by a weasel? The one from the weasel is weasily recognised, but the one from the stoat is stoatally different.

I don't know, do you think Weasels would employ badgers? All the badgers I have known have a good sense of responsibility. My encounters with weasels have been questionable but stoats are stoatally different.

Do you think Amazon employs badgers then? I've had a couple of weirdly packed parcels from them recently. ?

It was always part of the long term employment plan wrt leaving the EU. Keeps badgers, workforces and farmers happy but no one tell the foxes.

I bought a pack of tescos knickers fairly recently, and they are quite good. Probably won't last as long as M&S's, but not far off the same sort of quality. And just in the one plastic packet.

Now I've go this little image in my mind of badgers on a production line, wearing caps and name badges, packing up goods to send out..

The last parcel I had from M&S looked like a badger had packed it. It was all screwed up and shoved into a bag, no hangers or folding was necessary!

YANBU. But it’s probably the quickest way for them to be dealt with - all prepared to be sold in shops, then sent out by mail order but prepared for shop sale.

In-store I suppose they are hung separately so each pair need labelling.

They are the hangers used on shop rails, but I agree it’s unnecessary and annoying when they’re supplied to customers like this.
