AIBU to expect to be able to see what is happening in a BBC drama. I can honestly say that I was unable to make out what was going on for 20%of the drama Chloe. After all I am paying my licence to view BBC programs!

Yes, there is a thread but this could apply to a lot of BBC dramas where it is impossible to see what is going on.
I often think the producers must have very obtuse minds - they know what is going on but the viewer doesn't.

Either they can't afford decent camera operators or they're filming during power cuts.
Or think they're being mysterious and clever.

Too dark to see what is happening and too much mumbling which now requires English subtitles! It doesn’t make for relaxing viewing, more like reading a book.

Is it possible many British dramas are favouring the Scandi format?

I' really enjoying it the main character is such a good actress. She reminds of of Jodie Comer in Killing Eve.
