Where’s the snow! I’m sorry if you’ve a few inches but why the panic over a dusting?

Halesowen. West Midlands. It's been a beautiful day here, bright sunshine. I opened my patio window and sat and did my ironing , really warm. Cold now 6.32 pm

It's due overnight here in London - and let's face it, even a dusting causes chaos, school closures, absence from work etc. as we're never prepared.

As the saying goes " Southerners urged not to travel as snow ice and blizzards approach Northerners you'll need a big coat"

It hasn't snowed here but has in other surrounding villages which is interesting. It's very cold but I'm on a hot menopausal day so it doesn't really matter

Throughout the day my phone has cheerfully informed me it is snowing..

It has actually rained all day

It’s been a lovely day here, cold but sunny. Just briefly this afternoon there was a very light, short lived snow flurry, but fortunately it came to nothing. We are warned to expect some snow on Thursday, but I’ll wait until I open the curtains to see what we’ve got 😁.
The media does tend towards over dramatising things, though!

It snowed this morning when I walked the dog - but didn’t lay. It has been largely gloomy all day with a 5 minute interlude of sun.

A lovely sunny day here too- quite Springlike especially in the sun, and I’m not complaining at the absence of snow!
