Have a query with BG about a miscellaneous payment of £80.

So I shall bob in and out of here whilst waiting .. confused

268th?! That's ridiculous.

I hope we manage to keep you amused while you're waiting

Good luck!

lol well I am on chatting. So not been too bad. Seems the missalaneous Item is when they changed systems. Why do I feel like I have been conned!

bikergran Thu 04-Jan-24 16:10:47

Ok well I must admit I almost did not continue with online chat with BG, as it queue was so long, but it soon went down, so I would say to anyone stick with the online chat as it moves pretty fast.
( still got o pay my bill though) grin

268th ? 😳

bikergran Thu 04-Jan-24 16:16:49

Yep that is what it started off as, but as I say was sorted within 5 mins. I suppose some looked at the 268 and just gave up.

Right next quest! the My dad's doctors app for ordering his medication. This so far has been ongoing for over 18 mnth.

I feel in a fighting (but polite) spirit at this moment.

So to my next victim grin

They’ve changed systems? They haven’t moved to Horizon, have they (see the thread about Mr Bates vs the Post Office)? shock

Maggiemaybe Thu 04-Jan-24 16:22:58

I’ve got to chat with BG online tomorrow re our Homecare service. As usual they’ve bunged 30% extra onto the annual charge at renewal. Last year it took them all of 2 minutes to cave in and ask if I’d be happy with the same price as the previous year. Perhaps I should have said no, I’d like another 10% off please. grin

bikergran Thu 04-Jan-24 16:53:43

Yipeee I have done it!! I can now sit and order my dad's medication instead of trailing to his Doc's every single month and up the stairs etc. It is sooooooo much easier.

I have even been in again today to give them yet another different email, the girl sent the link there and then but still no link appeared. I thought I will try through the NHS app once again and BINGO! 18 mnths or longer trying to sort this.

You are on a roll bikergran! Now for this week’s lottery numbers ….
😁

Wheniwasyourage Thu 04-Jan-24 17:00:17

You're on a roll, bikergran! You could set up in business and offer your services to those of us who are not getting anywhere with big organisations! grin

Wheniwasyourage Thu 04-Jan-24 17:01:15

Crossed posts, Urmstongran, but she's still on a roll (or two). grin

Juliet27 Thu 04-Jan-24 17:10:41

I was 269 in the queue!! I did eventually give up.

They didn't change to the Fujitsu Horizon computer, did they? Be careful.

I hope you're not paying for the phone call, bikergran

bikergran Thu 04-Jan-24 17:17:15

Oh yessssssss I am rolling away. Now then what next.
Gosh it takes you by surprise when you have toiled with something for what seems for ever, then! suddenly you have cracked it, it is such a relief.

I think you have got to be in the mood to try and sort things out. If your not then you just leave it for another day then another etc, until the day comes along and you think "yes! today is the day".

bikergran Thu 04-Jan-24 17:19:05

No wasn't paying for the call, it was online chat, although originally I did ring but it was so long winded, plus they said if it is an emergency .

Callistemon21 Thu 04-Jan-24 17:19:33

Oh, misread, it's online chat.

I think we should all be suspicious of these corporations now.
