Newer posters, people not seeing this today, people who come on occasionally, those who dont read a thread through for whatever reason, people who forget. Endless list.

It ought to be where all posters can see it whenever they post - not that everyone would read it or remember it, even then.

If posters put the month and year on the subject line it would help.

Agree - even suggesting a post is dodgy or posting "reported" moves it up the active list. Report if you think it's not genuine but don't post on thread.

One poster who openly told the BOT that their post was a pack of lies was reported and put on the naughty step.

There are now two threads about spam threads, that is the point of them, to increase traffic.

You don't say whether it is the spam threads that are there to ncrease the traffic, or the threads about spam threads, Theexwife ?

I agree with you if you mean the threads about the spam threads, because increasng the traffic so as to pus them down the list and out of the way was my idea, but I am not sure why anyone else would want about 60 spambot posts from some collection of African witchdoctors to clutter up the forum. There are more interesting ways to do that, if Gransnet wanted to up the traffic
