Not huge news but it made me laugh,we live on the sea front and I am watching 30 plus surfers in the sea and families enjoying walks on the beach , if I go to the road side of the house I can see a group of children pulling each other on a sledge !

Hardy individuals. Hopefully it's not as cold as it is here in the hills. I see a man walking his dog wearing shorts and a light jacket. The man not the dog. It's been -8 here.

When I pick my DGD up from school, there is a father in the playgrounds who wears three quarter length trousers with bare legs and no socks in this freezing weather. His legs and feet are always blue from the cold.

DD is a wild swimmer, I look forward to hear whether she will be swimming this weekend. She does not even wear a wet suit. personally, I think she is bonkers!
