I might as well add that as Xmas approaches we tend to fall into 2 camps.
Those who are full of goodwill and good cheer and those who are as miserable as hell!
Oh and those who just fake it for the kids. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Exactly Petra, it's a ridiculous claim! It took me months to loose just a few pounds. Why wouldn't anyone want a miracle cure!

While I'm feeling annoyed about scammers I might as well add that the new weight loss tablet that is supposedly endorsed by Dr. Hillary is of course a scam.
You see it is the season of the winter flu and muddled and fevered minds are going to be more likely to be susceptible to outrageous claims.
Of course I expect all you supersavvy grans or g-mum's to know all this already!๐Ÿ˜‰

The weight loss scam (DrHillary) is 15 months old.
If you watched that video and believed it, well ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

It isn't only paypal. It's credit cards and debit cards. The reason I'm warning you is in case you decide to buy a book for your nearest and dearest. I don't really think it's unreasonable to warn you at all, but you never know, there may always be someone with a strong opinion ( against anything you say.)
It looks good on the surface, free delivery, secure site, popular books, but like a crocodile lurking in deep water, it's waiting to pounce on your finances and screw up your xmas.

Thanks for the reminder. I check my bank account daily, every morning but rarely check pay pal. I did that check this morning and all is ok. Thank you

Thanks for the heads up but why would you not share a scam and consider leaving it up to chance? Received my M & S credit card bill this week which had a PayPal transaction on it. I always double check my statements and haven't used Paypal in years. Rang M & S who mentioned that they've had loads of fraudulent PayPal's recently.

Just as well to warn us.

I can't tell you what if like to do to the latest scam perpetrators I've just discovered but I can warn you.
Don't be conned by worthingbooks.com.
It is an online bookshop that looks entirely reasonable until you fall in that it is just a phishing scam .
It seems secure and trustworthy but it is not.
Check it out on trustpilot and see for yourselves.
It literally takes advantage of your trust and good will.
AIBU to give you a tip about it or should I leave it up to chance?
