Waiting for my scan

To AStitchintime. I posted this in the political discussion, sorry I’m a newbie. Anyway I phoned the hospital about my scan and they said there was a 3 month wait, however there were always a lot of cancellations so I said I would be happy to take one of those. Thank you !

I agree, medical science has advanced immensely. If you are concerned about waiting for the scan have you considered contacting the hospital and stating you’ll take a cancellation at short notice? You might just get your scan that bit sooner.

there is so much that can be done for the heart, medication, surgeries etc, you must have the scan but do what you feel comfortable with whilst you wait. I hope it all goes well.

Absolutely carry on regardless and live your life to the full, doing what you want and feel able to do.

I’m waiting for a scan and hope that afterwards some of the heart problems that have been slowing me down will be resolved. Bopped around the kitchen to Simply Red and was relieved it didn’t have a dire effect. I’m elderly and have a job now getting up steep hills. Wondering whether I should carry on regardless and still live life to the full. I had a pacemaker which should have improved things. My interests are animals, birds, reading, art, gardening, scrabble etc.
