Hi everyone,
I would like to reassure you the above post is from I CAN, the children’s communication charity, a not for profit organisation. We are a charity that supports children, families and practitioners and our mission is that no child should be left out or left behind because of a difficulty speaking or understanding.
Our Enquiry Service is a completely FREE service, with no strings attached. We have already helped thousands of parents, grandparents, childminders, teachers and SEN staff with a wide range of queries relating to children’s speech and language development but want to help even more. Our therapists provide information on milestones and typical communication development - including what can go wrong. They can also offer useful tips and activities, FREE resources and signposting to helpful organisations.
We also host a website www.talkingpoint.org.uk where you will find free activities, factsheets, videos and information about children's speech, language and communication. There is a progress checker for you to use to see how your child's or grandchild’s communication is developing and a postcode search of local speech and language provision.
If you are worried about a child and want more information please contact us on 020 7843 2544 or email [email protected]
If you’d like more information about how we fund our services please call 020 7843 2552 or email [email protected]
Thank you,
Arabella
