Bath Cats and Dogs Home rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes over 1,300 unwanted and abandoned pets every year from throughout Bath, Somerset and Wiltshire. In 2016 we took in 1,475 animals and found new loving homes for 1,157 of them.
Luna the lurcher puppy (pictured) was handed over to us with a severely damaged leg. When she arrived, she went straight to our vet suite where our veterinary team took good care of her. Sadly her leg was beyond repair due to her age, so it had to be amputated. With daily expert care and medication, she has been adapting to life with three legs and is already bouncing around again and full of life. Luna is now looking for her forever home.
