Thank you all for your suggestions regarding my post, I now have several channels to pursue to be able to put them to good use.

The Headway shop in our town has a big green bin outside inviting us to 'bin your bra'.

Yes, M and S have boxes for unwanted clothes and unlike most charity shops they accept bras. I take lots (always buying ones that look user-friendly then turn out to be scratchy and drive me mad!).

I think M and S collect them

I give mine to a local homeless charity. They are usually desperate for all types of underwear

paddyann I never knew about this charity. Thanks for the heads up. Have just made a donation via their Amazon wishlist.

I send mine to Smalls For All ,Buchanan Crescent Livingston,West Lothian .They go to poor communities in Africa and other countries where girls are often under threat from men if they dont have underwear .

Hospice and other charities with shops may take them. Some food banks also use good donated clothing.

If you google it , there are several charities

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this; I have a number of brand new and almost new bras that, due to medical circumstances, I can no longer wear. Is there a specific charitable organisation that collects these does anyone know?
