When dh died we all gave money to buy our organist a' small black organ' to use for choir practice! We had problems in deciding what to call the account. My old man would have approved!

My cousin was asked if he played the piano and replied, "No, but we used to play with our vicar uncle's organ" Realised what he'd said and collapsed with hysteria. The woman he was talking to didn't so much as smile.

Once knew someone whose husband was building a (musical) organ at home. She would report that X had been busy again in the spare bedroom with his organ.

Dammit, missed it!
I do tea every Sunday for family. Today we had sponge cake with jam (homemade of course) and cream and a strange cheesecake made without flour or butter for hypochondriac daughter.
Best china is Wedgewood's Ice Rose. Also have MIL's embroidered table cloth. I'll come to the next bun-fight.
