Hahaha! Now I've seen it all. My inventive son-in-law has tied together the babies' bouncy cradles, attached the ipod speaker at the join, and devised a pedal so my daughter can rock the babies in tandem whilst they listen to soothing nursery rhymes.....and all done first thing this morning before he set off for work. It works - they stop crying as soon as she puts their music on. Hilarious!

A friend is expecting twins later this month. I shall pass on that idea to her (engineer) husband!

You can get reclining baby seats that are motorised and play music, they are attached to a swing-like frame.

Harrigran my other daughter, with twin boys, had a reclining baby swing seat that automatically swung and played music - my grandson used to switch it on to fast when they visited to see if he could make one of her babies sick! Boys!
