Today I've been mainly.......Volume 4

Well that seems to be the end of the sunshine we have much needed rain here this morning. I am off to York tomorrow for a few days to meet my two sisters so I hope its not going to be a wet.

Wet week ......never mind we possibly wont even notice between the chat and the laughing.

Just off now to have lunch with our 5th Thursday Group -What's lunch on a Saturday to do with 5th Thursday's you ask, (perhaps you don't, but i am going to tell you anyway).- well all the men in our group used to be 'Lions' and met every Thursday evening, except when there was a 5th Thursday, so one of them decided that on 5th Thursdays they would take their wives out in the evening - old age, and moving around has meant it has now been transferred to Saturdays nearest the 5th Thursday, (or something like that). Being going on for 25 years now, looking forward to seeing them all, but we did meet up a couple of weeks ago for our 60th Wedding Anniversary. How time flies!

Thinking of supernana, getting ready to go to theatre for her new hip. Don't forget the party later on! Broomsticks at the ready, girls.

I'm in Cardiff at the moment, working. I should be back though.

I can't come - too busy packing and leaving everything here ok for our son to look after himself for a week. Luckily (!!!!) we currently have our middle daughter and her baby living with us so if I forget anything he won't starve. Have a great time at the party, TRY not to get into any trouble and NO molesting all the nice young doctors. They mustn't be traumatised while they are still treating supernana

I better get the tardis ready and later I am going out for lunch for my daughter's birthday on 1st April, I am about 10 hours ahead here. It was around this time 39 years ago also on a Saturday night I was having my 21st birthday party and my water broke and my daughter was born the next day. (my actual birthday is on the 2nd April and my baby was not due for another ten days). That was fun not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gathering round supernana's bed after her op. With champagne and keeping an eye on likely looking doctors. I think she told us about 4pm. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I think I offered someone a lift to the party - but who?

If anyone needs a lift I have the back seat of the 4 x 4 turbo broomstick available,should arrive about 8ish and be in time for super emerging out of theatre.The vodka jellies are setting and champagne on ice get ready for the conga around the bed with a couple of the dishy doctors.

Are we sure Supernana will be up to it? She might think she's having hallucinations...

Never mind, they'll be nice hallucinations. And she will probably be high on morphine too!

Soon be time for supernana's bedside party. Champagne at the ready?

Hope Super's op is going according to plan (it was 4pm).
Unfortunately I can't make it to the party until after my favourite baby has settled in bed. She came for coffee this morning with my friends from the exercise class, and was passed round like a box of chocs!

Lots of chubby cheek kissing and bouncing up and down went on, and that was just my friends!
Aren't babies adorable? Then they grow up!!

Annobel please save me a bottle glass of champers will you? I think I'll need one by the time I get there!

annobel stop showing off just because yours is the very latest model I am right at the back of the queue,all the motorbikes are filling up for the Easter Egg Charity run tomorrow and my broomstick is wedged in between two burley Hells Angels and their Harleys.

glamma I am sure you can cope with Hell's Angels. You need Biker Gran at a time like this. I don't think super will mind notice if we are a little bit late!

Speaking of which where is bikergran not seen her for a few days is she on holiday ?
