Yes I loved him and Fern too! He did not seem to have the same rapport with Christine Bleakley in Dancing on Ice. I found her rather wooden.

I think Simon Weston is very brave and inspirational. He has just become a grandfather - doesn't time fly?

I admired Simon's mother - she had a tough time after his horrific ordeal and through his depression - and also his wife.

havent seen the pictures of simon westons grandson,was thinking of him a few days ago as the start of the Falklands war coincided with the the iminant birth of my son...agree with Greatnan how time flies 30 years ago,,A very courageous man and a grandad to be proud of.
