Oldie CDs disadvantage Oldie subscribers

I think it is diaboloical that the cd is not delivered with the magazine!

Just carry on as usual Ariadne. There was a lot of upset when it showed up because it was segregating Oldie's from Gransnetters, and when anyone is on here, we are ALL Gransnetters. If you visit the Oldie, you can be an oldie on there.

There's no need for segregation - we are all equal and welcome on here. Gransnet, that is, unless I've strayed onto another website and not noticed?

Well, I do not like it. I think boring people moaning about their boring CDS is, well, boring. Oh dear...

But this is Gransnet - something different, albeit for older people. Not an advertising space for a magazine.

Because this is the Oldie Borum... where else would it be?

But why is it here? Has anyone wished to hear about it? Forgive me if other GNs are interested. Just feels as if these folk are in the wrong place?

You have just beaten me to it. I was about to ask why this month’s Craig Brown CD doesn’t seem to be available for download to us subscribers? It’s available to those buying from a news stand - and we subscribers are supposed to be the ‘lifeblood of any magazine’ I am tempted to think we are being treated shabbily.

I enjoyed Maureen Lipman’s monologues, and am keen to hear the Craig Brown CD. So when’s it coming?

Ariadne I have never seen it on any newstand ?
