Thank you Ariadne I got quite a surprise to see my name on the Chat forum.

DH has taken Prednisilone for the last 35 years and had been told he would remain on it for the rest of his life. Someone obviously hadn't read his notes properly and it was stopped abruptly. The withdrawal symptoms were awful I wouldn't want him to go through that again. He is now back on it and well on the road to recovery.

Thank you all for your good wishes it means such a lot.
