What a lovely outing to anticipate. I'm sure your daughter will enjoy the day and it will be a wonderful acknowledgement of the work she does.

I really Sandringham ... but just remind her it will probably be held on grass, so she'll need to think carefully about footwear ...none of those currently fashionable 6" heels or she'll get stuck in the grass.
Oh ...and don't get too close the swans with a plate of nibbles!

And of course the word 'like' is missing!!

Jacey...good tip..........this is definately the place for wedge shoes....cant stand them myself but on grass ordinary heels are a disaster!

Oh and congratulations Nonu, you must be very proud of your daughter.

Hope you will forgive me for bringing this up again , I mentioned my DD had been invited to Sandringham , she came round this afternoon for visit and with her she bought a book of the days events . It was so lovely , it really was.

Nonu What did she wear?

A very nice dress , with "Wedge Heels " have photos of her , but as I may or may not have mentioned , we where actually away in U.S. so didn"t get to see her in the outfit.

Further to my earlier post this year , when I told you my Daughter had been invited to garden party at sandringham , the Charity has now been chosen as Charity of the year by Sainsbury"s ,so well done all of them [sunshine smile]

Soop x thanks they really do work hard with these disadvantaged teenagers. A lot of it is very sad ,she doesn"t tell me but I can make guesses .

How pleasing for them all. I bet they were gob smacked to think anyone was taking notice, let alone looking at rewarding them for the care and love they obviously give.

It is such a nice story and I bet it has really made them feel good about themselves, quite right too.

No need for thanks. How I agree with you. Teenagers are so vulnerable, they need all the help they can get don't they. It is the actions of the people like your daughter and the charity she works for that are the only decent human contact some of these kids have. I guess the hope upon hope is "If we can just show one child kindness and care he/she might carry the same attitude forward in their life, we will have won"

I bet it can get a bit heated at times as well though. Certainly not a job everyone could handle!.

I don"t think I could , however , she is a very empathetic and caring person. We absolutly adore her.
