Today I've been mainly.........Vol. 5

I'm feeling a lot better to-day the pain problem was an absess that had formed where the needle had gone in before the extraction,hense me feeling so awful the last few days and not posting,yesterday was the first day that I felt like going out so went into the garden and planted some more pots and washed all the garden furniture lets hope the weather stays nice for the jubilee celebrations next week,here we are just having a few neighbours in the front garden so will have to get the "baking head" on.soop it sounds lovely in your neck of the woods

I've been trying to upload two of last night's crescent moon. Cannot understand why it is that one is in premier position and t'other is number four in 'my photos'...I've been trying for yonks to get them both at the head of the list.

The sea is like glass. A soft haze cloaks the mountains on the horizon. the garden is a picture. The birds are going batty with joy. The cat is off on the trail of something attractive - or not!!!

Still no offence take - - in fact, I posted a comment on that cartoon on my own FB page, to say I could just hear my family saying 'Oh, crap, what is she up to now!'

Greatnan it wasn't your photo, it was a cartoon! I didn't see your personal fb page, it was on the Gransnet page.

I think you need to choose who can see your FB posts for each one.

nanachrissy - of course I would not be offended to be mistaken for either Annobel or my sister. They were both very smart - unlike myself, whose natural tendency these days is to wear old trousers and hiking boots! I posted the photo so my family could see how their 'Auntie Kaf' was keeping herself elegantly dressed!
I did think I had set my privacy to 'Friends Only' but Facebook still baffles me.

I loved the cartoon too, chrissy, and have shared it.

Just back from an eventful cub night. Making shortbread. Tig hide and seek outside. One cub falling in nettles but OK forty dock leaves and a lot of rubbing later (her mum told her to wear long trousers but she came in shorts). Another cub stabbing his head with a hard twig up a tree but OK after being swabbed with cold water. Henna hand designs on paper. A successful evening. Pheeuww!
