well,I'm always burning stuff. This week I burnt some fish fingers which I was looking forward to for my dinner-hard cheese-I still ate them-well, me and the dog. The worst is burnt carrots-I usually do this sunday mornings when I am reading the papers. My mum used to stay in the kitchen all morning-she cooked far better than me-but I'm not prepared to martyr myself. Our dog likes my burnt offerings anyway.

I like the idea that the dog "woofed" it down!

The burnt stew or the dog having eaten it? grin

Oops - I meant the fish stew - not the dog! (Or maybe the dog, too!) grin

Bet it made an awful smell.....confused

Well that was utterly inedible - so we threw it away after giving some to the dog who woofed it down. I had bread and jam instead

whitewave just add extra herbs and such - and remember to smile sweetly.

I did that last night with some rice but didn't dare go on GN to tell in case I burnt the chicken curry too!

Got so carried away reading the postings on GN that I forgot about my stew and now it is burnt - hope I can rescue it - hope DH doesn't notice!
