number What am I doing on here? I've a picture to paint! But first, I'd better make the bed, wash the dishes, put the washing on the line, perc some coffee, blahdy blah...
number Pepper in paint is beginning to look good. Will prop up my board, and throughout the evening, I shall make mental notes of any areas of his portrait that need special attention. Getting paint to behave in a proper fashion can be frustrating. It's all too easy to reach a point when the painting "works"...and then spoil it by over-working the detail. Anyway, come what may, you shall have as close to Pepper's likeness as I can manage.
I've come over all silly-like. Pepper portrait is calling to me ...it is such a pleasure to paint. Do wish my well-meaning father had agreed to let me go to art school. I'm sure I'd have made a splendid beatnik It took well over 50 years for me to buy a paintbox. Hey ho...funny old life!!!
number I can assure you that Peppers portrait will be an absolute work of art, the one done by our famous GN artist of my little mans cat Poppy has pride of place in my DDs home and is complimented on by everyone who visits soop is a golden person that is for sure.
Pepper's portrait has had a first light wash. Now that I've started, I'm hooked! Will tidy up the paints and let it rest 'til tomorrow. Thanks for the wee video. Muasdale looked bonnie.
Oh that's lovely -soop you paint a picture with words..*Donald*would be delighted to accept your offer and says to thank you for realising he is indeed a dog of distinction...he feels this should also be extended to offering him the position as mascot for Gransnet, and to suggest to geraldine that he should be given his own emoticon although he realises this might upsetJeni who is still waiting for her crescent moon.xxxxx
Today, I'm preparing to paint a wee portrait of a very handsome marmalade cat - who answers to the name of Pepper. Our very own black feral cat - who answers to any name, providing I'm bearing a dish of food, sauntered to the door for three breakfasts, gobbled the lot, washed his whiskers [reluctantly] and disappeared into the depths of the forest.
