Anyone an Elbow Groupie?

Over the last few years, I've become a fan of the group Elbow. I went to see them at the O2 last year and was surprised and delighted to see that a lot of my fellow attendees were my sort of age. Any other Elbow fans out there in Gransnetland?

Are you anywhere near Jodrell Bank in Cheshire Anagram? They are in concert there on the 23 June. I can't go sadly but I did see them in Paris last November - a magical night.

They have written the theme music for the 2012 Olympics - can't wait to hear that. Their music will be subliminally familiar to you because it's used as backing for so many tvprogrammes. And yes Annika One Day Like This is an anthem akin to All you Need is Love, but better. Listen to their song Mirrorball on YouTube if you can - its about falling in love and makes me weepy in the nicest possible way. Also Build a Rocket Boys - listen to the words its another anthem, addressed to the dispossessed young.
