Nanadog you really made me laugh out loud this morning. I love it. There is a bright child with a great imagination who will go far! "A split diagraph" Hurrah for children's minds.

I remember one New Year's Eve we were waiting to 'see the new year in', and was later asked by my very young daughter what the new year looked like!

Getting 6-year old grandson ready for school and checking spelling homework at same time. Granddad asked 'how do you spell train. 'T-r-a-n-e' was the answer. No said granddad 't-r- a-i-n'. Of said grandson I thought it was a split diagraph hmm

This morning I was having my usual struggle to get up off the settee, when little grandson, just 4, held his hand out and said "Hold my hand grandma", bless him.

DGS (3) "I'm going go tell that rain to go away, cos I want play out there, I do mummy"
Mummy was quiet shocked as his speech isn't great

DGD (4) and I were talking about last year's holiday and she asked me if I remembered a particular game. When I told her I did not remember that one she said 'Never mind, Granny. I expect your head is full up of memories of the olden times but I have only got a few years in mine, so I will remember all the new things and you can ask me if you want to remember them'.

Well - more things wee GS (3) says.

He helped me make a plateful of tiny muffins that we decorated with icing and then put a little pink ball on the top. "They look like little boobies" says he! No doubt caused by the fact that his mum is breastfeeding at present.

Further quote: "Please don't look at me" - "Why not?" "Because I am picking my nose!"
