Yes! Addicted. I keep telling myself to shut down the laptop and go and do something constructive but then I reflect that the constructive things (whatever they may be) can wait whereas on GNet there might be something urgently needing my comments. wink

If it's an addiction, which it may well be for me, it's one I'm not giving up. How nice to be able to chat to friends whenever you want to, or to ask for advice for anything, from knickers to divorce! Or just to have a rant at the very moment you need to!

Love it, love you lot. Now, what's happening on GN today?

If I'm addicted to GN [which of course I am] I'm not looking for a cure. Love you lot and haven't had so much fun in a very long time. And dear Mr soop agrees with me. grin

Now I really do have to do other things. Back later. smile

No guilt here, as I have nothing else I need to be doing. I did miss it when I was in Egypt. I check out my ex-pat forum too ( have found another 130 pages of jokes!) my e-mails and Facebook.

But there is the feeling of guilt. At least, there is for me. Why???!!! I don't know. What can be wrong with it?

Me too. I agree with petallus, after my week away in the sun, I have not checked up on GN much, but as you both say, it starts being addictive once again and I like to check up that I haven't missed anything!!smile

Erm yes.....my OH creeps up behind me with a knowing look over my shoulder....and my friends laugh blush when I go out the first thing I do when I come home...log on....first thing in the morning....last thing at night....nellie is sure to be lurking somewhere for a a bit of a lark grin .
Does it matter ...of course not....no different to reading or texting, meeting friends or shopping at least we are not spending money..are?

I was addicted to Gransnet before I went to Spain for a week last month. When I came home the addiction had gone and I only came on for a look a couple of times a day. Then I started doing the odd post and now it's back to logging on every half hour when I'm in the house.

All my family know about Gransnet. For a start I'm always rushing off with the latest good joke. A friend sends me texts saying 'get off Gransnet now' (he's joking).

Is anybody else addicted and does it matter?
