Sleeping! - honestly, nearly all day!
I have been ridiculously busy and worn myself out - and I have a cold, and had migraine this week. So a bit of rest is just what is needed. But I do feel a bit stewed - I'd rather be up and doing.

Just dropped off the 2 DGS's after an overnighter - will tidy in the morning too tired at the moment. They are full of plans for the holiday in Devon with us - like is it any good for surfing (we usually go to Cornwall) and can we go canoeing, cycling walking on the moor etc etc. Need some energy pills I think. It is so peevish though as we did all those things with their mother just wish we could do the same or at least as much as - we can manage one thing or the other but need to recover in between - so annoying!!!!

Packing, deciding what can go to the dump, what to recycle and declaring "I AM NEVER EVER MOVING AGAIN"! 27 years of accumulating I feel like Britain's greatest hoarder.

I'm not Italian but my DH is! I'm Nonna to his Nonno because my step gd has two other grandmothers and I knew they wouldn't be Nonnas! Also my other 2 gds call me Nonna too. It saves any confusion!!

jo4 and there is also painting and decorating, and landscape gardening well any sort of gardening would be nice rather than the shove it into the gound and see what happens as the way Mr Annika goes about it wink

Hey Bez - that's a good idea! Never thought of sending DH on a useful course.

Let me think now. Cooking? I wonder.........! smile

Looks beautiful, Nonna - I took a peek. smile

Nonna - I wondered if you did because of your name. My grandkids have an Italian Nonna - but they all live in the States. I'm an English grandma living in France! sunshine

Trying out the new shower - works beautifully - great having a DH who took a plumbing course when he first took early retirement!

Just got back from attending DGD's 1st birthday party! All the other babies from dd's antenatal class were there as well 3born on the same day!
That little madam has got all her grandparents twisted round her little finger!
Weather stayed fine so it was a barbecue in the garden. My 1st this year!
Very pleasant but very tired now.smile

That didn't make any sense....
family here for long weekend, then off on tour of friends and relations and then back here for a few days before they fly out. Odd to think they have been flying all day and won't land until 5 tomorrow morning !
An early start for me.
