Even compaies biker don't have masses of people in differnt locations on conference call at the same time. Maybe they have teams in 2 ot 3 locations but that is different. Just imagine us all in one room blindfolded and trying to work out whose turn it is to speak next! I think a lot of people would never get a word in and the same people would be talking between themselves.

yes agree skype us very easy, but like OP not sure how many people you can have chatting at same time..I type with my friend but can get confusing if one or the other doesnt wait until the other one has finished typing...may be the same for chatting im not sure, think it prob works better one to one..but I may be wrong.....smile but companies do have conferences some how , not sure what/how they use for that,!

Well I'm happy to pm my username if anyone wants to try and contact me tomorrow after about threepm gmt.
I suggest we use gmt as our standard time as some of us are in different time zones!

It is confusing when more than a few people are talking but otherwise very easy to use..

As I have just said on the other thread, I don't know how you would manage it as everyone would be talking at once! It could really only be done if you limited the number of people.

Skype is very easy. For those who don't have it you just need to Google it and then follow the instructions which are simple. I use it all the time and conference calls are a doddle.

I don't know how you do group meeting though but I believe you can do it.

I use Skype a lot - lovely to see the GC in USA - also if you have an iPhone or an iPad you can move around with it and show all sorts of things - we can see what DS is doing in his basement making rooms etc.

I have just joined Skype so I don't know much about it (and I only have two contacts!) but I would be interested to hear how this goes.

A few GNers have expressed a wish to meet up. For some this is not possible because of the distances involved.
One option might be the use of Skype.
I would like to know how many people would be interested?
