I think Lil is your boss green....but then again it could be Nell just depends on the day Yes a bit of a mess was left....a few people were giddy and drinking on 'empty heads'...no names..

Who's my boss here, anyway - is it Lil or littlenellie? I can't be doing with not knowing who my boss is, because I've got quite a high profile job in this establishment. glammanana, the bacon butties that you made should've been put on that plate that I'd left on the draining board next to the pig-swill bucket. I'd given it a good wipe over with the teatowel that gramps had used and which I dried out over the oven, so it was perfectly clean. However, what do you go and do? You took another plate off the shelf where the mousetraps are....must empty those mousetraps when I've got a minute.. Found a bit of MaggieP's lobelia floating in the pigswill bucket - what on earth's been going on while I was having a well-earned lie-down?

Morning all, looks like those of us who left early missed a rowdy evening, who trampled on my newly made flower pots and who pulled lobelia out of the hanging baskets? It was draped around Lil's front door, all red, white and blue!
I will be back later to make amends and woe betide the culprits if I catch them...... What will Littlenellie have to say?

The things that you find the morning after the night before,I bet some have a sore head this morning,never mind loads of bacon butties on the way all with a dash of brown sauce.I'm busy today so if you want food before tonights session you will have to fend for yourselves,Keep the kitchen tidy and don't eat all the chocolate cake,I know how many slices there are left !!

Who's pinched the darts - I've found the board. I think that Bags has been using them to practise archery.

OoooH - goody! I'll not let you down, Lil! Promise! I've got an old pinny of mum's. I'll wear that tomorrow. She used to keep her fag-ends in the pocket so there are a few shreds of baccy in it as well as burn-holes. If the baccy falls in anything, it'll not do anyone any harm...it's only herbs, after all. Tiddlywinks are a good idea...(actually gramps did a tiddle under the table, but it's all cleaned up now)

LIL will be on her way back soon she had a meeting at the bank to secure funds for her expansion,she has sent me to see what you have all been up to...she doesn't want to raise expectations to high,I think she will extremely pleased when she returns and finds chaos reigning it reminds her of our childhood,our mother was of the same old school as Greens mother..Lil used to copy her style when she was younger headscarf tied on top of two plastic rollers in the front of her hair,a floral penny,and checked booted slippers with the bunions cut out and her stocking rolled down to her ankles,and her teeth in the pickled onions...although I trust green wouldn't follow that example...oh and by the way Green you are hired..has * pete* found Huey for whom he was calling...tomorrows special board will feature all leftovers in a pAstry crust and served in the restaurant as they will not know about this afternoons events..Lil is extremely pleased at today's staff meeting,and suggests we h,ave another tomorrow all are invited this bar is very much like Lil cheap and cheerful,Lil has ordered a juke box for the corner ...and tiddlywinks....

Think I've eaten too many pork scratchings (some of them are very chewy!), so I'll pass, thanks....

Good idea, Anagram.....there! Now, seeing as Lil's not here yet, I'll make everyone a nice sandwich. I'll just give my hands a bit of a wipe - now...tripe sandwich anyone?

Wring it out in the pig-bucket first - it needs a bit of body to ferment the tripe.

Oh....well give it here anyway. I'll dry it out over the oven....it'll do for wiping over the bar later.

Is there music ? loud and plenty of it , marley , pitbull, Maroon 5 or is it a discreet little watering hole ? This would influence whether I will visit it or not . {wink]
