What do you call 2012?

I'm with you greatnan, 'twenty twelve' sounds good, but I can never bring myself to use it, not logical I know!

I say twenty twelve. I was saying two thousand and... until this year, but now we're at twelve, twenty something sounds better (to me). Doesn't bother me what other people say.

Twenty twelve sounds mellifluous, it trips off the tongue. I think it is the repetition of the 'tw'. It's twenty twelve for me.

Hm.....I think I might try using Twentytwelve - see, I am always open to reasonable arguments!

Twenty, twelve and 14/18 war or WW1. There is no reason to be consistent at all and I also think 'twenty twelve' is mellifluous, as is 'mellifluous' now I think of it!

I think next year I may change. Twenty thirteen sounds good....!

Twenty twelve although occasionally I do say Two thousand and twelve! First World War! The years nineteen fourteen, nineteen eighteen.
