I am Capricorn, not sure what my characteristics are . I feel I am steady , reliable and honest , but maybe that is just wishful thinking !!!Although it does sound a little boring . I seem to surround myself with Aquarians , My Mother , Daughter , ex daughter-in -law , and two of my best friends . One thing I do notice about them all is that they are all very dramatic people , always getting into scrapes which I am expected to rescue them from !! If there is anyone out there who knows the characteristics of all the signs ( or where to go to find out ) I would be very interested . To put the proverbial cat among the pigeons , I have noticed that some Pisceans appear to be Hypochondriacs .No offence meant to all you Pisceans , you can pass on your views on Capricorns if you like !!!

If ever I meet someone who promptly tells me which star sign I am, I always agree that they are right. They then proceed to explain why it is perfectly clear that I am Gemini or Scorpio or Aquarius or Cancer, etc. affording me considerable secret amusement.

But petallus, you do know what the female equivalent of 'bull' is....?

JO4 I do have to get on and do things straight away which doesn't really suit my Pisces DH.

I do charge in but hopefully not too much like a bull since bulls are male and I'm a laydee.

My first job was helping to develop an occult magazine which never actually saw the light of day. I wasn't involved with the astrology stuff but the guy who wrote the articles etc. had a pregnant wife and I remember his telling us how he was urging her to jump up and down and do all sorts of things to go into labour one auspicious week, then the next inauspicious week was telling her to stay in bed and not move. Poor woman. As always, the baby was born when the time was right for him.

We had all sorts of weird and wonderful people wandering in an out of our office. Someone drew up my birth chart, someone else read my palms and a graphologist analysed my handwriting. About the only thing I remember is that I have frigid thumbs according to the palm reader and lascivious loops according to the graphologist.

My next job was on a cookery magazine.

I find it all very interesting too and 20 years ago when I left my husband, I read a lot of books and had my personal horoscope cast.
It has helped me quite a lot in my dealings with the general public and in personal relationships.

In fact, being a Gemini, it helps me to manipulate things to my advantage!

I`m Gemini, but don`t believe in all the horoscope rubbish. My MIL had the best idea, she read them in all the papers and magazines, but only believed the good ones.

I am a fiery Aries but with a Cancer moon. Each person has other signs in their charts, such as their Moon sign which represents their emotional side and their Rising or Ascendant sign which represents their personality, they are just two. The sun sign is only one aspect, so reading about your sun sign in a newspaper or magazine is a waste of time. Each person's chart is completely individual as it is worked out on the exact time, place and date of birth. Looking at your Sun signs won't tell you if you are compatiable, I think you have to find out what's in Venus or your moon signs to see if you are compatible. It really is very complicated!

I find it quite interesting and often read www.astro.com but wouldn't live my life by it!

I'm a Gemini and proud of it! I'm married to a Libran.......I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure. True to his sign he dithers when it comes to making decisions. My eldest son is a Gemini and two of our DGC are Librans all Air signs. We like to chat trouble is no one else can get a word in edgeways. We have an Aries and a Leo both as firery as their signs and one Virgo who is the only one with her feet on the ground.
