midlands venue vote

Could we use this thread for voting for a venue please?
The choice is
a) Strada at Brondley Place
b) Museum/Gallery Edwardian Tearooms
c) House of Fraser restaurant
Single transferable vote, of course grin. Seriously, vote for 1 option and we will discard the bottom option after the first vote, if it is close and have a second vote between the top 2 options!
If you don't mind either way please say so.

Don't think we have got a time fixed yet book - lunchtimeish at the moment. Yes Jeni I think suffragettes too so must have a look at the virtual tour again to check the location of railings.

bookdreamer Mon 06-Aug-12 18:02:42

6th October. This will be fine for me and will be there. Has a time been decided on yet?

jeni Mon 06-Aug-12 14:46:44

What's happened to the emoticons?

jeni Mon 06-Aug-12 14:45:42

gracesmum Mon 06-Aug-12 14:36:16

Saturday 6 October

Yummygran Mon 06-Aug-12 14:28:58

As I know all venues, I was going to vote for Strada, but the Edwardian Tea rooms seems to be favourite, so I am happy with that.......just one thing I can't find the date!

gracesmum Mon 06-Aug-12 10:50:37

Adding yummygran to the list - that OK with you yum??

susiecb Mon 06-Aug-12 09:42:18

I'm coming to the Victorian tea rooms in the hope that its like Betty's!!!!smilexxx

glitabo Mon 06-Aug-12 09:40:29

gracesmum Mon 06-Aug-12 09:27:15

If I have got this right I have the following for the Edwardian Tearooms:

helmar
eGM
jessM
grannybug
jeni
grrrranny

susiecb who would prefer one of the other venues
So 16 in all, as long as we can persuade susiecb to come and play.

Oldgreymare Sun 05-Aug-12 09:45:05

Museum/gallery/Edwardian Tea Rooms .... pretty please!
Am I no. 15?
Only just found this thread, sorry!
Purple... yea!

susiecb Sun 05-Aug-12 09:38:44

House of Fraser restaurant or if not Strada - i think you know my feelings about an Edwardian Tearoom!smile

Elegran Sun 05-Aug-12 09:29:02

Suggestion from someone who does not live in the Midlands and will not be there, so am just poking my nose in - the suffragettes wore green, purple and white to identify themselves and show solidarity. Green, purple and white for Gransnet? Or some subset of those?

grrrranny Sun 05-Aug-12 08:46:48

I think there will be more than 13 because this thread kept disappearing yesterday so people won't have seen it.
