Last night I had the strangest dream!

Last night I had one of those dreams that seemed to last all night and that I keep remembering today.

I dreamt that I had to have part of my right leg cut off. It didn't seem to matter whether the amputation started above the knee or near the ankle and I wasn't scared but I was upset that I wasn't going to be allowed to have a bath after. confused

Have I finally flipped? hmm

kitty, you could go to www.dreammoods.com
There is an A-Z of explanations.
I would go for
amputation and bath.

Then come back to us to let us know what you think of the interpretations?

Legless again last night kitty? grin

Wow, johanna I didn't know that site existed.

Apparently, something is holding me back and I want to escape from it and I assume that wanting a bath but not being able to have one means that I can't escape.

I don't think any of that applies to me but .........

We did go out to celebrated Mr Lester's 67th (not 68th!!) birthday but I was driving so no, at least not until the dream!

It means you are in total denial that eating cake will cause you to put on a few pounds - you don't believe it when you're awake and so this is a way of helping you out! What total bull.... that is but this is an idea - dreams are usually the opposite way round if you can understand what I mean!

I couldn't begin to list some of the odd dreams I have had lately, but I think in part the tablets may play a part.

I wonder what this strange dream meant that I had early Monday morning.

I was living in a sparse house, GS6 comes over takes blood pressure. Expartner puts on a doctor's jacket over a blue bomber jacket, (which looked exactly like a jacket my exhusband had about thirty years ago and I thought that while I was having the dream). A man comes in for directions to cross the road, then two more who are going to the same place. The second two go while I am still trying to look up the directory for first man and take the blood pressure (for who I can't remember). confused

I am sure my dream has lots of meaning for me with GS4 recently having gone through an operation while I was in Brisbane. Also about two days before my dream I received another nasty email from my expartner. I knew I would forget my dream so I typed an email to myself on my ipad. When I reread it yesterday I was surprised at how much I had forgotten about the dream.

I think some dreams are a way of our subconscious sorting out information.

Message deleted by Gransnet. There was nothing untoward about this post at all, but it does mention an identifying detail about another posters family member that they have since asked us to remove from the site. GNHQ

Does anybody ever dream they are having or have a baby? I find this disconcerting and wonder if I am regretting our 3 DDs growing up and away?
If I do have a baby, it is absolutely tiny - like a hamster or guinea pig (I know!!) and I worry about feeding it and if (in my dream) I am pregnant, I worry about feeling it move - and the fact that even in my dream I am my true age.
Therapy needed?

Thanks kitty' smile

gracesmum. I wonder why you are having the baby dreams more than once. When I was a child I dreamt the same dream a few times of being driven to an old house in an isolated place in the country. We would go into the house and have a bowl of sugar. hmm

gracesmum I actually had a baby dream last night! I was having one, that's all I can remember...
I have had similar dreams on a few occasions - sometimes I can't find my baby, or am desperate to get back to it. I'm always younger than I actually am in my dreams anyway - I wonder what that says about me? hmm
