A senior moment.

I was typing in a pincode to my online bank account for years from memory and then suddenly one day I just couldn't recall what it was.

Went on for half a day and then suddenly it came back.

A couple of days ago I was putting on a hot wash of towels and picked up the tea cloth currently in use and threw it in with the towels before switching on. An hour or two later I went in the cupboard under the sink (which is next to the washing machine) for something and there was the tea cloth.

This happens to me often Greatnan. I have resorted to disguising PINS in my phone under a made up contact name. grin

This morning, I tried to use the debit card that I have used several times a week for two years and completely forgot the order of the digits. I even forgot the mnemonic that I use to remember it. Had I been using an ATM, I could probably have got it right the second time but I was in a shop. Luckily, I had enough cash to pay for my groceries, but the shopkeeper looked very suspicious.
This kind of thing is new to me - perhaps I have been upset by my memories of my daughter's horrific experience.
