Well they can join me in my birthday celebrations then - just off for a posh lunch with DH and DD and DGC visiting tonight! Yipee!

Thanks everyone! Had a lovely lunch (bit posh but very enjoyable) with DH and now looking forward to seeing DGC and DD after tea. Feel a bit full but we did have a walk by the sea afterwards which was lovely - it always makes me feel good as I love the sea.

Anyone else got a birthday today? 31 August is the cut off date for schools. I was always the youngest girl in my class at school and indeed the youngest in the school when I started at Grammar School. As I am the fourth of five siblings I am used to being down the pecking order so it didn't bother me!

I do always think of Princess Diana who died on my birthday so how could I forget?
